John Lennon is my idle and i would love to follow in his musical and charming footsteps. I hate that bastard for killing him and leaving two young boys (Sean and Julian)without fathers. All i want is for John to be alive. I was born 15 years after he was murdered yet i know so much about him and i want to spread his wisdom and love through out the world. LONG LIVE JOHN LENNON!

Unsure if this website it still working? I’m a 40+ secetary whom fell in love w/the /Beatles. My fav? George and John. Remember hearing news of John’s passing. Thought it was the actor: Jack Lemmon. Not my Beatle????? Heartache followed. 15 years old I was. I’m 43 now. I still love John Lennon. I miss your voice, Mr. Lennon?? I shall always love u.

I remember when John Lennon pass away he died on my daughter dad’s birthday. What away not to forget this bad day in music. I was a huge fan of his and the rest of the guys. He is truely missed in this life time. Keeping his music alive in your heart means he is not going. To the song I want to hold your hand we wil get the chance to hold your hand John.

Lennon’s death was sad because he represented so much to British music culture. Sure, he wasn’t a great campaigner for peace – although ultimately US political pressure caused him to stop campaigning.

Bah Humbug…so a song writer died, and all of the narcissitic yuppies act like it was the start of World war II…indeed, it got more press than WWII…
Lennon’s legacy is a “peace” that led to 1 million boat people and a million dead Cambodians…to a lot of people burning their minds out with drugs (not to mention the widespread child neglect of druggies kids that we didn’t see thirty years ago).
And imagine if the wishes of “Imagine” came true…persecution of quiet religious believers, government appropriation of private property, people living in “peace” from SOMA or Valium or whatever drug would let you be peaceful…uggh.
And where was I 25 years ago? In a poor African country where I was treating people with malaria and other easily preventable diseases….
You see, unlike Bono, Lennon didn’t do anything practical that might upset his lifestyle…
