		<description>This whole story strikes me as similar to the Clinton-Lewinsky story where people made a really big stink out of an event that is basically not the american public&#039;s affair. Obviously this was all an accident and I&#039;m sure Mr. Cheney apologized to his friend and his friend&#039;s family. My read on the situation is that the Bush administration was content to keep it at that, despite the clamouring for a public apology, and only backpeddled on that stance when they realized that the victim of this accident was a 70 something year old man who may not bounce back, had a minor heartattack, and could have died.</description>
