A Political Witch Hunt

I never thought I’d say this, but I wish the Bush Administration would act more like the Clinton Administration did.

Rather than accepting resignations and then whimpering to the press about the dysfunctionality within the Justice Department over the recent firings of US Attorneys, U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales should be fighting back. He should be calling this what it is. It’s a stunt being pulled by the Democrats to do what they’ve always wanted to do – get Bush. Why else would the press reports on the story be mentioning Harriet Miers and Karl Rove?

The American people want bipartisan governance. The problem is, they thought electing Democrats to a majority was the answer. They were wrong.
