Do it Now! Or...or...uh...

The U.N. will do nothing, and Ahmadinejad knows it.

The leaders of Russia and Germany urged Iran to fulfill its international nuclear obligations Thursday, a day before a U.N. Security Council deadline for Iran to stop enriching uranium. Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad vowed that no one could make Tehran give up its nuclear technology.

And in the same breath…

Russia and China on Thursday warned against escalating the dispute over Iran’s nuclear programme. The call came on the eve of an eagerly awaited report on whether the country has met United Nations demands.

A complete joke…that’s what this is.

And to think we can look forward to another decade of UN resolution after resolution containing empty threats and worthless reprimands for Iran. Oooh…scarrrry!
